Hi guys,

I was re-reading an old copy of the Peoples Guide I found stashed away in a cardboard liquor box along with a pile of other old books. Ah, what a great read! Makes me want to leave all this Seattle hoopla behind and do some real living for a while.

One thing I have been making good use of are the recipes contained therein. I am a single dad with an 11 year old son and any additions to my meager menu are always appreciated by him!

I have made a few passes into Mexico over the years, most recently being a fishing trip down the Baja way back in the 80s. That was a great time! Several of us were planning to go, but at the last minute everyone chickened out except for Jack, who was my friend's father, and myself. Well, we had a heck of a grand time! We hardly knew one another before we shoved off, but during that trip we became the best of friends!

I would like to go back down again with my son. I sold my VW bus a few years back and drive a little '93 Toyota 4x4 now instead. We took it on a camping trip last summer in the Rockies.

Just wanted to say hi and let you know someone is peeking at your web site

your friend, Duffy
