We’ve waffled back and forth for months about creating our own discussion forums or interactive bulletin board on this website. But... do Lorena and I really need another project? Does the online Mexico community need or want yet another discussion board?

Our final decision is a compromise, thankfully offered by David McLaughlin, publisher of Mexico Connect. Henceforth, the People’s Guide discussion will take place on his website. After all, we and many of our correspondents already use MexConnect’s very lively forums, so why re-invent the wheel? Better yet, by adopting these forums as our “own”, we cleverly evade the maintenance chores and responsibilities such forums entail. I should have thought of it myself.....
