| Following the globo race, David and Dona introduced us to a traditional expatriate custom: Monday night tamales at the "Dirt Floor Restaurant". Once a week, a local family opens their door and sells an astounding quantity of delicious chicken, cheese or pineapple tamales for three pesos each (about 33 cents).
